Product details

Use where excellent durability, resistance to chemicals, color and gloss retention, and abrasion resistance is required. Gives a hard, tough film combined with good flexibility and abrasion resistance. Has excellent exterior durability in harsh environments.

 

Kit Contents

This is a two-component (2K) urethane supplied as a convenient one-gallon kit. The base resin is packaged three-quarters full in a one-gallon container, leaving room to add the included catalyst directly — no separate mixing vessel needed. Simply combine at the 3:1 mix ratio, stir thoroughly, and apply.

 

Comments

Pot life on this product is 5–8 hours after being catalyzed. Best results will be give if used within 3 hours. Prevent contact with skin. When painting water towers or containers that hold large volumes of liquid, 48 hours cure is suggested before refilling containers. This will help prevent any damage due to condensation or frost.

Method Designed for brush and roll. May be sprayed by conventional or airless guns, but care should be taken to avoid runs because of the slow evaporation of solvents.
Surface Preparation Substrate should be clean and free of oil, grease, and foreign contaminants. Rusty substrate should be wire brushed or commercially sand blasted and given 2 coats of appropriate primer.

Thinning & Clean-Up For brush and roll: Use as is.

For spray application: Thin 10–20% with Xylol

For cleanup: Use Xylol
