M. S. Urethane Tar is a high performance coating formulated for steel and concrete exposed to sewage, high humidity and buried environments.
Superior to coal tar epoxy for chemical resistance, flexibility, weathering and cracking. Single component — no mixing of catalyst. Can be applied under high humidity conditions.
Best performance is achieved with two coats at 5–7 mils dry per coat. 2 gallons will cover a 500-gallon tank with 2 coats. This material is moisture sensitive. Try to figure your job to where you will not have any partial containers. Clean equipment as soon as possible. Do not get on your skin. This materials is almost impossible to remove from skin when cured.

| Surface Preparation | Surface should be free of contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, and foreign materials. For immersion SSPC-SP10 near white blast. Existing coatings can be pressure washed at 2500 PSI and supplemented with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning if necessary. Do test patch to check adhesion. |
