Product details

MS Clear Urethane is used as a protective coating on a variety of substrates. May be used on most metals, concrete, previous coatings, and plastics.

Benefits

MS Clear Urethane has excellent chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, flexibility, and adhesion.

Kit Contents

This is a two-component (2K) urethane supplied as a convenient one-gallon kit. The base resin is packaged three-quarters full in a one-gallon container, leaving room to add the included catalyst directly — no separate mixing vessel needed. Simply combine at the 3:1 mix ratio, stir thoroughly, and apply.

Comments

MS Clear Urethane is used widely over zone paints or stripping paints to greatly increase life expectance and eliminate dirt pick-up. It is also used as a clear floor coating on concrete where a high degree of performance is required. May also be used over coatings that are “starting” to show signs of failure from chemicals to extend service life. Keep wet film thickness in the 2–2-1/2 mil area to prevent bubbling or foaming. For interior use only.

If this coating dries on the skin it is impossible to remove. This product cures by absorbing moisture from the air. Attempt to use the full container after opening, as once exposed, it will have a limited pot life.
